Fix the business. Stop enduring it.
Why this exists
Running a restaurant is hard, and some of that is just the job. A lot of it is the Grind: thin margins, constant firefighting, a business that stops when you do. Most independent operators fight it alone, one bad month at a time, while the operator down the road already found the fix.
So the answers end up scattered: a supplier rep's guess, a forum thread from 2014, whatever the last consultant said. The Underground puts them in one place, attached to the operator who tried it and the number it moved.
It is not a course catalog and it is not a feed to scroll. It is a working room: Fixes, field reports, Wins on the Board, and Sprints you run with a crew. Learn something. Fix something. Build your MORE.
Fixes from operators who already tried them, with the number it moved
Sprints: four weeks on one problem, with a crew working it alongside you
Wins on the Board, so you can see what working looks like
The founder's story
Operator Underground comes from actual experiences running QSR and fast casual restaurants, and living The Grind firsthand. Hiring, training, chasing food cost, trying to grow sales without working every hour of every day.
The answers that helped most rarely came from a textbook. They came from another operator who had already hit the same wall and could tell me what they tried and what it did to the numbers. Those conversations happened in group texts and parking lots, and then they were gone.
Now, The Underground is where they stay: a community built by independent operators, for independent operators who would rather fix the business than keep enduring it.
